Please submit your application prior to the event and if approved, you will be reimbursed the expense of paying viewers ($1 each). Other miscellaneous expenses which might be incurred in the creation of a successful Pay Per View event up to $50, may also be covered by Asha Sanctuary.

Activitism/Outreach Experience. First time applicants, briefly describe your vegan activitism/outreach experience. In addition, "Pay Per View" events are unique and require unique skills and preparation. You certainly need to be prepared to answer questions related to the videos as well as those on vegan nutrition. The images will often have the views want to move away form the food they have been eating and you need to be prepared to inform them on how easy and healthy the switch can be.

Asha Sanctuary will occasionally reimburse for samples of vegan food that will encourage people to come to your table. For Pay Per View, due to the graphic nature of the content, we only recommend light non-perishable snacks such as cookies. Which vegan food do you plan to sample?

You are required to display educational literature at the event. Please note that Asha Sanctuary does not pay for self-made literature or printing costs. The literature must be ordered from established organizations, such as Mercy for Animals, Compassion Over Killing, etc. All literature must include a 1) Vegan Starter Kit, 2) Information on Factory Farming, and 3) Information on Small Farms, Free-Range Farms and Organic Farms. We suggest The Humane Myth. Please indicate the organization(s) and names of literature you will be providing:

Estimated Costs. We offer $1 to each individual who chooses to watch the short video--this is an inducement (or reward) for their time and willingness to learn the facts regarding the horrific abuses that millions of farm animals suffer daily. We estimate 10 views/hour and per laptop. You are required to track your actual viewer totals for final reimbursement.

If food is being served, appearance is important.
Always wear a clean apron, a hair net, scarf or hat as well as latex gloves when serving food. A vegan themed t-shirt and/or button is recommended as well. Also, to be effective in tabling, a clean, positive, healthy, calm, non-judgmental and inviting demeanor works best!
Reimbursement.
After your event, you will be required to complete and submit a reimbursement form. This form will require a brief recap of the event, 4 photos and any applicable receipts. Photos should capture images of the table, table location as well as people viewing the videos.
Important Disclaimers.
Asha Sanctuary reserves the right to withhold reimbursement for the following items: excessive or wasteful items, wages, travel expenses, special equipment, shipping, office supplies, printing, items which have little or no value in vegan education, tabling supplies not related to Pay Per View, or any other items that do not fit in with the mission of Asha Sanctuary. When in doubt, get approval in advance of the event.

Asha Sanctuary's Applicant - Funding Contract: Terms and Conditions. Asha Sanctuary reserves the right to deny applications that do not fit within our mission and/or guidelines or that are not judged to be an efficient use of funds. If the application is approved, the Approved Applicant grants to Asha Sanctuary the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs and other documents and materials that are submitted with the follow-up reimbursement form. If an outreach event is canceled or disrupted for any reason, the Approved Applicant will be solely responsible for any out of pocket cost related to the event. Asha Sanctuary does not reimburse for any losses if the event has not taken place as planned or if the turnout is much lower than expected. If an event is canceled for reasons outside of the applicant’s control, or if attendance is low, Asha Sanctuary may, at its sole discretion and where applicable, permit Approved Applicant to use non-perished food and literature at a suitable make-up event. The Approved Applicant must contact Asha Sanctuary promptly in such situations and follow the necessary steps to get approved for his/her make-up event. If an application is approved, the Approved Applicant is responsible for notifying Asha Sanctuary of any changes, including, but not limited to, modifications of food sampling menus, literature selection, venue, or event date(s). Asha Sanctuary must be notified in writing about such changes prior to the event. For outreach efforts involving the distribution of food, the Approved Applicant is solely responsible for safe and proper food handling, and will display a disclaimer that states “COMMON FOOD ALLERGENS MAY BE PRESENT.” If the application is approved, the Approved Applicant is responsible for completing the online reimbursement form. The form must be submitted no later than 30 days after the event date or as otherwise specified at the discretion of Asha Sanctuary. Where applicable, photos and receipts must be uploaded to the form. Asha Sanctuary is unable to accept receipts via mail or email. Reimbursement forms that are missing required photos or itemized receipts will not be paid. Approved Applicant hereby represents and warrants that: (i) Approved Applicant is not, and has never been, designated as an individual or entity that has been determined to have committed, or poses a significant risk of committing, acts of terrorism that threaten the security of U.S. nationals or the national security, foreign policy, or economy of the U.S., which would violate the Executive Order 13224, entitled “Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons Who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism,” which became effective on September 24, 2001 (the “Order”); and (ii) Approved Applicant is not owned or controlled by, or acting on behalf of an individual or entity which would violate the Order; and (iii) Approved Applicant has not and will never assist in, sponsor, or provide financial, material, or technological support for, or financial or other services to or in support of, acts of terrorism or individuals or entities designated in or under the Order; and (iv) Approved Applicant is not otherwise associated with certain individuals or entities designated in or under the Order; and (v) Approved Applicant shall not enter into any sales, lease, or other agreement with any person, group, entity, or nation named in the Order or located within any of the countries listed on the controlled countries (“Controlled Countries”) list or named on the Specially Designated Nationals (“SDN”) list as maintained by the United States Department of Treasury (and other agencies); and (vi) Approved Applicant shall not assign this Agreement, or any rights or responsibilities herein, to any person, group, entity, or nation named in the Order or named on either of the Controlled Countries list or the SDN list or other assist or sponsor any such person or entity. Approved Applicant hereby agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Asha Sanctuary, Inc., any parent, subsidiary, or affiliate of the same, and each and all of their respective employees, agents, volunteers, officers, members, managers and directors from and against any and all fines, penalties, actions, claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees and costs) arising from or related to any breach of the foregoing requirements, warranties and representations, regardless of how incurred or how arising, judicially, administratively, or otherwise.
