Lindsay came to our sanctuary (from another rescue group) with her mother, Dawn (shown in back). The two are inseparable and share a very close bond. Had Lindsay not been taken in by this rescue group and our sanctuary, she would have risked being separated from her mother, sent over the border into Canada and slaughtered for 'donkey meat.' This very unnecessary 'food' is considered a 'delicacy' in some countries. Lindsay is very sweet, gentle and enjoys human companionship very much. She especially loves long hugs and being scratched behind her ears. Lindsay's favorite snacks are apples, carrots and alfalfa. She is in need of very loving adoptive parents who wish to provide her a safe shelter with her mother, food and critical medical care.
