ASHA advocates for the abolition of institutionalized cruelty to farmed animals through education and to help people adopt a cruelty-free lifestyle.
We provide innovative programs that educate the public about the sentience of farmed animals, and the devastating impacts of agribusiness and institutionalized cruelty on animals, people, and the planet.
ASHA provides lectures and workshops on plant-based nutrition and how this diet can help lower or eliminate the risks of heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure, and certain types of cancers.
We have recently filed for incorporation as a non-profit organization and are working toward 501(c)3 status as a charitable organization.
Located in the heart of Niagara's orchards and vineyards, ASHA is on 26-acres of cleared and wooded land, with a vision to rescue farmed animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment, while continuing to educate the public about the mistreatment of farmed animals.
Our vision extends to offer weekend and special group tours, vegan cooking classes, a model community garden, and much more compassionate programming year round.
ASHA's vision is to become a primarily solar-powered Sanctuary.
